Dr. Michael Cadore, Executive Director of Community Engagement for External Affairs at Eastern Florida State College.

In 2021 I had the pleasure of partnering with 007 Agent Dr Cadore as Ms. Moneypenny and brought home the title of TOP Bond. It is with an enthusiastic heart that I accept the promotion of Agent 007 Carson for this year's gala. I am also thrilled to announce that Dr Cadore will be coming out of 007 retirement to partner with me for this assignment as Mr. Moneypenny.

My Why!

Brevard has many nonprofits that do outstanding work, but the Childrens Advocacy Center is one of the most important ones. As a retired educator, a youth volunteer and the wife of a Law Enforcement officer for over 32 years, I have encountered, and heard of children who have been abused. Personally, my husband and I walked with a family whose child was sexually abused by a trusted friend. The devastation of these crimes lasts a lifetime but with proper care and help can have a positive outcome of healing.

Although my assignment is to raise funds for the Advocacy Center, my mission is to raise awareness of child abuse, neglect and sex trafficking that is happening in Brevard County. I want to share the numbers that are eye opening and to educate the community. The work done every day along with the support of DCF, Law Enforcement and the State Attorney's office is crucial. By providing a sensitive, loving approaches for investigative interviews, to the mental health counseling for victims and families, the center is life giving to those it serves. .

I hope you will consider partnering with Dr Cadore and myself as we join forces to help protect the lives of the children in our community. Together we make a difference!
