Michael A. Cadore Sr. is a community leader with more than three decades of experience in education, public safety, civic and community engagement and mentoring.  He currently serves as the Associate Dean of Enrollment Initiatives and Engagement for Eastern Florida State College and is an adjunct instructor.  In November 2019, he retired from the Rockledge Police Department and now serves his city as Rockledge City Councilman.

Mr. Cadore holds a master’s degree in management and Leadership form Webster University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Corrections and Administration of Justice from Eastern Kentucky University.  He is currently a Doctor of Education student at Capella University.  As Founder and President of Magnus Solutions Incorporated, his company provides consulting, mentoring, Life Skills coaching, community service opportunities, leadership, and business workshops as well as inspirational messages.

Before becoming a law enforcement officer, Mr. Cadore earned a national recognition at Eastern Kentucky University as a record setting Kick Returner. After college, Mr. Cadore was drafted into the National Football League by the New Orleans Saints. He finished his professional football career in Montreal Canada. In 2014 he was inducted into the 2014 Space Coast Sports Hall of Fame and 2020 he was inducted into the Eastern Kentucky University Athletics Hall of Fame.

Mr. Cadore keeps his faith and family first. He has been faithfully and happily married to his high school sweetheart Cornelia Cadore for 29 years and they have three children. Mr. Cadore embraces and strives daily to live by the motto: “If you don’t serve your community now, don’t expect your community to serve you later.”

Mr. Cadore is a Champion of Children and accepted the 007 Assignment from the Friends of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Brevard (CACB) to help raise funds and awareness for the CACB’s program and services to help child victims overcome the trauma of abuse and neglect and move forward on a path of recovery to a promising future.
