The CACB is specifically designed to provide a safe and child friendly environment for abused children, where:

• Child Protection Team professionals coordinate child abuse investigations and complete abuse assessments including medical examinations and forensic interviews.
• Clinical Intervention Program professionals provide specialized therapeutic treatment critical for child victims to understand and overcome the trauma of abuse, develop skills necessary to live productive lives and strategies to enhance future safety.

CACB services are:

• Critical to child protection, safety and therapeutic treatment.
• Supportive of core partners involved in child abuse investigation and offender prosecution.
• Available 24 / 7 as needed, free of charge, to all child abuse victims, siblings, and caregivers.
